ST. DOMINIC'S PARISH HAS A NEW Email: StDominicsMI@archtoronto.org ( Please note the upper and lower case on the email.)/
PASTA DINNER - Once again, many thanks to all those who made our pasta dinner so enjoyable and successful.  The total gross amount was $4578.57. The total expenses were $827.04. The amount raised for the parish is $3752.53.

ANNUAL HARVEST BAZAAR – Many thanks to all those who made our harvest bazaar so successful. I am indebted to all of you for your generosity to the parish. I will have more facts and figures for you next weekend. Thanks again!

ST. DOMINIC MINISTRY FAIR – October 22/23 after all Masses. This event will give you an opportunity to join one of our ministries or committees. We always welcome new volunteers.

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS HALOWEEN PARTY FOR FAMILIES – Saturday October 29, following 5pm Mass. More information will be available in the bulletin as we approach the date.

ANNUAL RESETTLEMENT BAZAAR – Saturday November 12, 9am – 3pm. While funds from the pasta dinner and harvest bazaar go directly to our parish, monies raised at the resettlement bazaar go directly to the Resettlement Committee in order that they continue the tradition of welcoming refugee families to Mississauga. This is extremely important work, especially given the times in which we live.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED SOONER THAN LATER

I need volunteers for the following:

First confession and first communion meetings –.  I need people to prepare the refreshments at all meetings. The ideal situation is to have a team who could take turns, making the work easier for all. Many thanks to our new volunteer. We still need 3 or 4 more volunteers.

Confirmation – I am looking for a Confirmation coordinator who can oversee the program. I also need help with registration in Jan. 2017 and facilitators who can help at 4 classes, taking our students through the confirmation manual, Anointed for Mission.
Please call me or email me if you can help. 905-278-7762 ext 2 or pjones@stdominicschurch.ca

I wish you all a good week,
                                                                                                     Fr. Phil
