had by all. Food, refreshments, games and karaoke were the order of the night.

are invited. There will be separate programs for grade 6 – 8 and grades 9 – 12.
Please come out and be a part of your parish community.
Christmas
Giving Program with St, Vincent de Paul – The Christmas giving trees are now up
in the main vestibule and the front
parking lot doors. Please take one of the ornaments and turn it into the

thanks for your generosity.

the parish. Elementary School students in the morning and Secondary School

Tree
Lighting and Evening with Santa – Our annual tree blessing and lighting will
take place on Saturday evening December 2 after the 5pm Mass. The festivities
will continue downstairs where there will be children’s Christmas snowflake
bingo, food refreshments and music. This year, we are selling tickets to this
event so that we know how many people are attending and also to cover the cost
of the food. Tickets are available after mass in the vestibule or from the
office during the week.
Statue
of St. Dominic – The committee who prepare our Sunday refreshments after the
9:30 Mass have requested that we have a statue of St. Dominic in our church.
They have been fund-raising for a while now and have $1800.00 thus far. The
approximate cost is $10,000.00. They are holding a bake sale on November 26th
after both Masses in aid of the statue.
Christmas
Concert – In honour of Our Lady, Coro San Marco will be coming back to St.
Dominic to perform a Christmas Concert on the Feast of the Immaculate
Conception, Friday Dec. 8. At 8 pm. Tickets are available in the vestibule
after and from the office during the week. The cost for this concert is $25.00
for adults and $15.00 for children under 12.
As many of you know, we thoroughly enjoyed their last performance and I
am looking forward to this one. Please spread the word and invite your friends
and family. Proceeds from this concert are divided equally between the choir
and St. Dominic Church.
