MOTHER’S DAY – I extend to all of you God’s peace and blessing on your special day. Thank-you for all that you do for your families, our community and the parish.
Happy Mother’s Day!

A Mother's Love

There are times when only a Mother's love Can understand our tears,
Can soothe our disappoints and calm all of our fears.
There are times when only a Mother's love
Can share the joy we feel when something we've dreamed about
Quite suddenly is real.  There are times when only a Mother's faith
Can help us on life's way and inspire in us the confidence
We need from day to day. For a Mother's heart and a Mother's faith
And a Mother's steadfast love were fashioned by the Angels
And sent from God above.  (Author Unknown)

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION
Once again, I would like to congratulate all of our students who received their First  Holy Communion last weekend. We, as a parish, are proud of you and we hope to see you here every Sunday with your families. Jesus offers Himself to us as often as we ask Him to come to us. It is here, at His table, that He meets us at the Eucharist.

I want to thank all those who were able to help with the Roast Beef Dinner/Dance. From our coordinator, Seana  Crump, and everyone who worked in the kitchen, to the Knights of Columbus, St. Paul students who did the set-up and clean-up, to Joe Vetro and the ticket sellers and to those who donated the wonderful prizes.   Congratulations to our prize winners. We realised $3200 in profits from this event. As you all know, we need to have fund-raisers in order to help us keep up with the costs of running the parish and the parish buildings and I do appreciate all those who were able to come and participate. This weekend is our Mother’s Day Brunch after all Masses. Think about coming downstairs, enjoy a delicious meal and support the parish at the same time. On June 19, we will be having a Father’s Day Brunch and tickets will be on sale at the end of May. Many people have asked about the Family Pasta Night. That dinner will be held on Saturday September 17th and the organization for that event has already begun. All of these fund-raising events not only create a community but they help the parish financially too. These are all great opportunities to meet your fellow parishioners, since we come to different Masses, and support the parish at the same time.

TOTUS TUUS CAMP - This is a faith-based summer camp for those in grades 1 – 6 and from grades 7 – 12. Elementary students come in the morning from 8:45am – 2:30pm and the older students from 7:30 until 9pm. Registration forms are available after Mass and at the office. Thank-you to the Totus Tuus disciples who spoke to us this weekend. The camp will run from July 25th – 29th at the church.

CONFIRMATION 2016 – The celebration of Confirmation will take place on May 14th at 5pm Mass and on May 15th at 9:30am, 11:30am and 2pm. Please note the additional Mass for Confirmation.
