FOURTH SUNDAY OF EASTER

Reflection from the desk of Fr. Terry

The Idea of the Shepherd is very, very long and deep in history of salvation. And so the idea of the shepherd leading the sheep, was a very responsible task and a very responsible job. Jesus said to the people" I am the good shepherd. I know mine and they know me. They hear my voice and they follow me."  Jesus, the good shepherd walks in great silence through your life, every morning, all day, day after day, month, year after year. But you have to listen and hear and open your heart to the wonder of the good shepherd's silence caring for you, worrying about you, guiding you through all kinds of situations and yet you know that he will never leave you, he will always be there and his joy his to be the center of the silence in our own living.

Please Pray…..

Please pray for all the children of our parish who are receiving their First Holy Communion and for our young people who will be receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation. May the Lord Jesus always watch over them and guide them.

Congratulations

We congratulate all the young children who received their First Holy Communion  this weekend. May Jesus bless you and your parents who journeyed with you encouraging and supporting you. Thanks to our Lay Pastoral Associate Beverly O'Grady in preparing you for this big day of your life.
