FOURTH SUNDAY OF LENT

Reflection from the desk of Fr. Terry

Through the parable of the Prodigal Son, Jesus teaches us that God is a merciful Father who loves us, as we are, along our strengths as well as our weaknesses. We would not always meet success and are not exempted from tasting defeat, sorrow anguish, disappointments, sickness and depression. We cannot escape misunderstanding, rejection, enmity and irritation. But Jesus assures us that even in all of these, his Father's love is strong enough to sustain us as he Himself experienced. God accepts and loves us for what we are even before we approach Him. God's love is constant. He loves us unconditionally, totally and without reservation.
