I
hope you enjoyed our Holy Week and Triduum liturgies and Masses and that they
were a prayerful and spiritual experience for you. A lot of work goes on behind
the scenes to prepare for these celebrations and there are many people to
thank: Ministers of the word, Ministers
of the Eucharist, Ministers of Welcome, Altar Servers, and those responsible
for creating the scheduling, members of the RCIA team and candidates who helped
with the feet washing on Holy Thursday, our gift bearers, those who washed the
altar cloths, hand towels and purificators for Mass, Anthony and the 9:30 choir
and cantors, Sean and the 11:30 choir and cantors, the collection counters,
Jennifer Thiele, who made our wonderful palm displays on Palm Sunday and Good
Friday and all the ladies who prepared and served at the reception after the
Easter Vigil. Special thanks to James at
the Apple Market for the donation of our Easter flowers. Last, but not least,
many thanks to all our parishioners, visitors and members of the community who
attended our celebrations. It was wonderful to see the church overflowing with
people.
