CHRISTMAS BAZAAR

Resettlement Committee

St. Dominic's Resettlement Committee sends their sincere thanks to Dr. Martin Mark who spoke at all of our Masses last weekend on behalf of the world's refugees. He opened our eyes a bit wider to the virtually global refugee crisis. In addition to the homeless who live on our streets, there are millions of other homeless who are fleeing to refugees’ camps, victims not of flood or famine but of human abuse.

One thing that we can all do is to say a prayer for them, a prayer that they will find a home that is free from fear and human abuse. In addition, some of us can contribute financial aid in response to their critical need for help; others can give a bit of their time helping to make their new life happen.

St. Dominic's Resettlement Committee asks that you show your willingness to alleviate some of the homelessness throughout the world by joining the work of our committee and supporting our fund raising CHRISTMAS BAZAAR to be held on SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 8th. Whether it is by donating financially or by contributing bake goods/auction items or by actually assisting at the Bazaar, your help will be appreciated not only by us but those we are enabled to help.
