Many thanks to all those who were able to
attend my roast beef dinner last Saturday evening. I am indebted to our parish
Social committee for all their hard work in preparing and running this event:
Dominic and Isabell DeFilippis, Dean and Alex Lupton and Andy and Michael
Krampelj. Several others came on board
to set up, bake and prepare the hall and I thank them as well The students from St. Paul’s are always
instrumental to our parish celebrations as they spend many hours behind the
scenes beforehand and at the event. Their help, too, is invaluable.
Thank-you to all of
our sponsors who generously donated item for the penny auction. I would like to
thank the manager, Nick, of Food Basics at Dundas and 427 in Etobicoke for his
generosity in allowing me to purchase the beef at a reduced rate and beyond the
limit per family number. This gesture helps
us immensely! I hope you all enjoyed it
and I look forward to our next parish event.
I would like to
welcome Betty Alilovitch to our parish staff as our new Youth Ministry
Director. I am looking forward to great things happening with our young people.
Please remember our
tree blessing and lighting on December 8th after the 5PM Mass. Food
and drinks will follow in the hall.
