It is hard to believe that the school year
has begun once again. I would like to
wish all our staff and students at St. Dominic, Queen of Heaven, St. Edmond, St
Paul and Archbishop Romero, a blessed and fruitful year. I look forward to
seeing you all soon.
I hope that you have
had a good summer and a chance to take a break from your regular schedules. As
part of my vacation this summer, I was able to stop in St. Louis Missouri on my
way to Tampa to visit Fr. Leo. He will begin teaching at the University of St.
Louis this year. He sends his best to you all and hopes to be here in the near
future.

I have thought about this over the past three years and felt that we
needed an annual parish bazaar with a harvest theme in time for Thanksgiving.
Thus far we have many preserves: assorted jams, jellies, pickles, chilli sauce
and relishes. Many people have been very
generous in donating gifts for the penny social raffle, the children’s table
with brand new toys and a fish pond, Grandma’s attic, the Victorian tea room
and the bake table. There will be something for everyone at this bazaar. Lunch
will be a BBQ with home - made hamburgers, hot dogs and drinks. The main raffle already consists of an iPad
and a 32 inch Samsung TV. If you have
any other ideas for a booth or you would like to help beforehand or during the
bazaar, please call the office.
