I hope you all had a good week. My first experience of the pasta dinner was a wonderful one. It is very obvious to me that a lot of work is done in preparation and behind the scenes. If I was to name everyone involved, I would surely miss someone’s name. Therefore, I will simply say ‘thank-you’ to all those who made the evening such a success. For me, success is not measured in money alone but rather in community spirit and parish families and friends coming together to spend time and get to know one another better. Everyone I spoke with had a great time and enjoyed themselves. From what I witnessed, the kids had a great time too! I would like to thank those who donated so many wonderful prizes too. We realized $5,626.60 in support of our funds for air-conditioning. We will continue to fund-raise through parish events for this cause and, at the same time, continue to build the community of St. Dominic. Again, many thanks to all who attended and contributed to make the evening so enjoyable. I wish you all a good week and God’s blessings
